According to the MacGyver News site the "Houseboat" used in the series has been sold.

It was listed for sale on Craigs List on Nov 8th, 2014 and sale was made on Jan 12, 2015.

Hope it's be brought by a fan of the show. Would be nice to see it restored to how it was in the show.

MacGyver To Be Re-released On New DVD Set

CBS-Paramount are set to re-release the MacGyver complete series in a new DVD set on April 7th. It will include the same 39 discs as the original 2007 release as well as the 2 made for TV movies but will be housed in new “shelf friendly” packaging. There is no mention of any extras or enhancements being included in this release.

We nearly lost MacGyver in the first season!?

According to this article it sounds like MacGyver came close to being cancelled in it's first season. It was getting hammered in the ratings and they blew budget. As a result they had to stop making the opening gambits because they were costing too much and the show was moved to mid-week.
